The Caroni Central constituency has approximately 30,000 voters. Throughout the year, various activities for constituents are planned and executed, creating a sense of community and belonging in the Caroni Central area which often results in great happiness and enjoyment of constituents. Members of the constituency are served with great diligence with regard to their specific needs. Integrity and steadfastness is maintained in its services, roles and duties expected from constituents and the public in general.

Dr Bhoendradatt Tewarie engaged in a number of ground mobilization efforts in 2019 primarily through continuous activities and walkabouts, community meetings and visits. For the year 2019, there were multiple walkabouts throughout various communities in the Caroni Central Constituency, three community meetings and twenty one visits including school and work sites visits.

The above ground mobilization efforts were planned weekly and monthly and were executed successfully as the MP engaged with various members throughout the areas in the constituency and took note of issues or problems to be addressed.

He Who Plants a Tree, Plants Hope

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service recorded 142.1mm of rainfall for the month of March 2018 making it the wettest March on record since records began in 1946. March on average is the driest month of the year in Trinidad and Tobago. On March 4th, 2018, Piarco recorded 128.4 mm of rainfall and thundershower activity, across parts of Trinidad. 1972 was the last time thundershowers were reported in March at Piarco.

Floods Cripple Agriculture in Freeport

In Central Trinidad, some residents say it’s the worst flooding they’ve seen in 20 years.

Dr. Bhoendradatt Tewarie sources an Agronomist to assist farmers of Freeport, Trinidad.

With the recent heavy rainfall and flooding, farmers’ crops and produce were affected greatly. Mr. Aknath Singh, Agronomist (under the direction of Dr. Tewarie, has been dedicated to serving the farmers of Freeport / Caroni Central and by extension, other farmers of Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr. Singh provided technical and agronomic advice to these constituents for restoration of gardens, etc. Some generous farmers of the constituency and agro businesses offered donations of seedlings and chemicals.

We’re offering classes and courses at beginner and advanced levels, as well as special limited edition sessions of prenatal yoga, children’s yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.

Yoga allows you to find an inner peace that is not ruffled and riled by the endless stresses and struggles of life.
